Cars is a story about Lightning McQueen, a hotshot rookie racecar all set to win the Piston Cup and be the first rookie to win this. Due to an unfortunate (and Lightning ego-filled) turn of events, there was a triple tie for the race. The three winners must race again in California to see who will get the much coveted Cup.
On his way to California, Lightning's ride, Mack falls asleep on the road (with some help from drag racers) and loses Lightning on the way. Lightning, desperate to get back to Mack so they could get to California first, searches for him and ends up wrecking havoc in the small town of Radiator Springs in Route 66. Lightning is punished to fix the road he destroyed, and in turn, finds out that there's more to life than focusing on himself and racing.
Haha...I won't tell the whole story 'coz that would spoil you. :P Cars is another great movie brought to us by Disney and Pixar. Its filled with lots of action and lots of lessons to be learned, most especially about pride. :) Lightning's so full of himself at the start of the movie, loving the fast life and reaching his dreams that he didn't acknowledge the people around him. His crashing into Radiator Springs brought him to reality -- of the simple and quiet life, friendship and how winning really isn't everything. :)
And can I just say? I LOVE MATER! Haha. Cute cute tow truck!
